Reawakened

THEME: Collective Intelligence vs Collective Madness

Lore:
You're the Core of a Hiveminds which once landed on a small planet with low population. As the antagonist, you defeated most of the civilization there and created a small Empire.

But all of sudden, some species you didn't know arrived on the planet to find revenge for the now nonexistent native population. The Core gets knocked out and almost all of the Hivemind's parts lose connection. The workers go feral and your Empire falls apart.

Over a thousand years after this incident, you awaken, seeing ruins everywhere around you. When you realize that a few workers stayed by your side, you decide to rebuild the Empire and bring it back to its former glory. 

But there is an issue.

The feral workers also survived, and seem to have developed a fear of light. Each night, more and more of them attack you, as the information about your awakening is spreading. 

Mine resources, Build structures and control your workers to get everything running, so you can defend yourself at night, before the feral workers completely wipe the Core.

Maybe another Hivemind is controlling them?... [insert mysterious music dun dun duuun]
